Last of the Soocer Posts... For Now

Don't be deceived by the jackets and pants. The last soccer game of the year was not much warmer than any of the other cold and rainy Saturdays in April and May. But the cool weather doesn't slow Grace down much.

Discovery World

I am in a mad rush to get my June pictures in the blog before July, but I am certain that it won't happen since I still have hundreds of photos still on the camera. The good news is that as soon as I have time to catch up there will be lots of blog posts, but the bad news is that I have no idea when it will be. That being said I might muster enough energy to finish June strong.

We hung out at Discovery World and enjoyed the many aquariums of fish.
And turtles.
My bidding geniuses enjoyed the many hands on displays.
They also liked hanging out in the boat.
What strong girls?!
JELLYFISH!
and of course more fish!
Have I mentioned fish (and starfish and sting rays).

Future Firefighters

Grace and Lydia had a firefighter class a couple weeks ago. They talked to the amazing firefighters, checked out the fire engines and tried on the fire fighting apparel. They managed to get the girls out of princess clothes for a bit to dress as the fire heroes.

Thanks to the great firemen and women who serve our communities.

Relay for Life

We celebrated life by walking in the Relay for Life at the local high school. The girls were a little disappointed that their were no "medals" for how fast they finished their race, but they enjoyed the night with their friends nonetheless.

I'm glad that I am not the only person who takes a ton of pictures of my supercute kids! Notice the lady behind them who took a ton of pictures of these great girls too.

Friends

Grace and Syd are best of friends! They greet one another with giant hugs even if they have only been apart for minutes as we drive from point A to point B. They compliment each other on their shoes, hair and beautiful outfits as if they don't have half of the same identical wardrobe in their own closet. They challenge one another to try new things (usually Grace is the one needing the encouragement). They compromise and work things out on their own without any parental assistance. And they are the most inclusive and social girls ever!

Memorial Day Parade

After a couple days of being having sick kids and being a bit cooped up, we were all ready to get together with some great friends and watch the Memorial Day Parade.

Look at all these cute kids in their red, white blue attire.
Hands down, Ella's best part of the parade was the tootsie rolls. From before the parade started until we got home she was eating tootsie roll after tootsie roll. I'm not exactly sure how she got so many just sitting there with her bucket. The candy tossers must have loved her.
The group pre-parade.
This was as good as it gets for pictures of the three girls together.
Saying hello to the racing sausages.
The great Menominee Falls Police Officers!
Waiting...
Ella and Mom.

We had a great day filled with the parade and a party with family and friends. I'm glad that summer arrived a bit so we could actually wear the cute summer clothes as opposed to bundling up in sweatshirts like the week before.

Movie Night

One of the girls favorite thing to do at night (or anytime) is to have movie nights. Lately Ella decided that she wants to cuddle up with her sisters and join in their fun. She sure is happy to be hanging out with her big sisters.

Ella even managed to lie down (she may have been pulled down) for a couple minutes. I am certain that Ella was running around and playing not long after the start of the movie, but they are cute all lined up in a row.
Did you notice that Grace is way more entertained by her movie than her Momarazzi Momma, while Ella loves to ham it up for her momma and ignore the movie?

A Visit to Grandma & Grandpa's

A couple weeks ago we took a short trip to see Grandpa Charlie and Grandma Dawn. It was a pretty short trip due to the girls having an increasing number or extracurriculars, birthday parties and other happenings.

The girls were quick to get some cuddle time in with Grandma.

Grace and Ella warmed up by the fire that Grandpa made them.
Ella and Paul paddling around the lake (or in a little circle)?
Getting ready to go fishing
Lydia fishing
Grace fishing off the dock with 2 poles.
Grace holding her fish.
A fish moved and freaked Grace out a bit, so she refused to hold her fish anymore.
We had a great time while we were there.

Last Gymnastics Class... for Now

Spring gymnastics is over for another session. Both girls loved their respective classes. Lydia loved her class of three year olds, while Grace absolutely loved hanging out with her 4 and 5 year old friends.

Grace has grown comfortable with the beams, bars and other apparatuses. She loves hanging out with her friends and adores her teachers.

Lydia has amazing strength, balance and coordination in her gymnastics class. She is definitely is at ease hanging from the bars and jumping through the air.

***********************************************
I have no idea why the pictures are in such a weird order. Only some uploaded the first time, then I went to read them and they were all mixed up. It probably doesn't help that Grace and Lydia's classes overlap so their pictures are all mixed up with each other.
