Picture Day

Lydia had her 6 months pictures yesterday. Grace couldn't resist hamming it up for the camera either so we had some pictures of her as well. Here are a couple of the pictures from the day.

Say No To Melanoma

Grace has definitely learned the importance of putting sunscreen on every morning before we go outside to play.

When I was feeding Lydia breakfast this morning, I noticed that Grace was unusually quiet. As much as I enjoyed not having Grace distract Lydia with her running around I was suspicious. When I went to the dining room I found Grace applying a very healthy amount of sunscreen to her legs.

A Day at the Beach

Last Saturday, we decided Grace to take Grace to Bay Beach since we may not get another opportunity this summer. (We are not as brave... or crazy as Grandma and Grandpa Borneman though since they took Haley, Grace and Lydia earlier this summer). Lydia spent the day hanging out with the Bornemans.

Sara, Nona, Erick, Grandma and Grandpa Pedersen decided to go to to Bay Beach as well for the day since the weather was nice.

Nona and Grace driving the ladybugs.

Grace and Dad went down the big slide. Here they are boating!
Next off to the train.

Getting Started

I decided to blog about our family instead of just sending random pictures of the girls with no explanations. Considering that I am definitely not technosavvy (if that's even a word), it may take a while for me to figure out what I am doing. Although I make take the time to figure it out instead of cleaning the house.

Paul spent the past weekend putting up a play set in our backyard. Grace and Lydia wasted no time putting it to good use. Grace was willing to share her swing with Lydia as long as she got to push her. Lydia had a bit of a crazy ride but she liked it.

Eventually pushing Lydia got boring and she needed to swing and hand from the trapeze bar.

That's all for today since nap time is officially over.
